A
common mistake is to give iris too much
water which can cause rotting of the
rhisome.
There
are many kinds and varieties of iris. Some
have beards while others have no beards.
An
Iris Garden should not be over
watered, overcrowded, or overfed.
"My
grandmother planted iris in her yard 20 years
ago. They never bloom any more because
the iris was a "bad" iris."
Tall
Bearded and Median Bearded Iris love
lots of sunshine. They need at
least six (6) hours or half a day of
sunshine every day to produce beautiful
blossoms.
Iris come only
in one color, one size, and one variety.
