Established in 1988 following Al's sale of his
florist business, this garden has over 200 iris varieties, large numbers of
daffodils (many of Dave Niswonger's creations), daylilies, hostas and much more.
It is fronted by a large blue spruce (hoopsi) -- the bluest of the blue that
retains its color all year. His 11-1/2 acres of grounds are home to a flock of
turkeys, numbering at least 30, that visit daily.
